Modern standards
Grounded sockets in Schuko standard allow you to insert the plug normally and after turning it 180 degrees.
In addition, almost every modern appliance is equipped with a Uni-schuko plug (photo opposite), which is compatible with both Schuko and traditional "peg" grounding.
Traditional plugs, without any grounding, can be connected to the Schuko strip. However, we recommend using high-current devices with grounding.
