Support for 2.5 "drives

The device is designed for  2.5 " drives , which include both fast, solid-  state SSDs,  currently the most popular standard among mass storage devices, and smaller magnetic  HDD drives  for laptops.

Due to the low current transmitted through the USB 2.0 connector, the adapter is equipped with an additional plug, which should also be connected to the computer or to the mains charger.

ATTENTION!

The adapter  does not work  with 3.5 "SATA drives and CD-ROM / DVD drives, which need 12 V power supply. This is due to the higher power demand of these devices.
