"AC" converters have a different power supply and PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) signal control characteristics, which has a direct impact on:
- Filament life . A HID filament working in tandem with an AC inverter loses its light properties much slower
- Characteristics of work . In simple terms, an HID filament, when connected to a DC converter, works like a strobe. Depending on the length and frequency of the signal coming from the inverter, flicker may become noticeable after the HID kit has been used for some time on DC converters. In the case of AC converters, the signal is matched appropriately to the given bulb and the flicker problem does not exist.
- The color of the light . The light coming from the light source based on the AC converter is more natural and warm.
Additional information:
- CAN BUS - a system that informs the driver about a burnt bulb in the form of a "burnt bulb" error. The standard Xenon HID kit uses 2x 35W, not 2x 55W like regular filament low beam bulbs. As a result, electronics in modern cars may have problems with proper adaptation with the lower power consumption of the Xenon set. In 99% of such cases, converters with a power consumption similar to that of filament light bulbs, i.e. 2x 55W, should be used.
XENON HID car converters are designed to supply XENON HID filaments. XENON HID lighting sets, thanks to the excellent proportion of the amount of light to the energy demand, are an excellent replacement for filament bulbs. Moreover, their characteristics include a very long service life. XENON HID kits are items intended for users expecting the highest reliability at extremely attractive prices. We encourage you to choose XENON and LED car bulbs available in the assortment of our shop with professional car lighting.
