The caliper is equipped with 3 buttons for operation:

• mm / inch - allows you to change the measurement unit. It is possible to measure in millimeters or inches
• ON / OFF - to switch the device on and off
• ZERO - to zero the caliper before measurement

The caliper switches on automatically when the jaws are opened, and has an automatic switch-off option to save energy.

It is powered by a 1.5V LR44 battery. The set includes a total of two batteries, one is already installed in the device, the other in the factory blister serves as a backup battery
