H4 CREE ™ 40W 1800lm bulb is the first bulb made in LED technology, the dimensions of which are similar to those of ordinary tungsten bulbs.
As a result, the LED H4 CREE ™ 40W 1800lm bulb, unlike other H4 LED bulbs for low / high beam, can be successfully installed:
- In the lamp, in which the bulb is mounted via an adapter.
- In such a way that the lid protecting the inside of the lamp against moisture is fastened in place.
- Wherever it is not possible to install other LED substitutes.
Due to the lack of an external bulb cooling module, H4 CREE ™ 40W has limited beam power to 1800 LM . Thanks to this, the life of our bulbs matters tens of thousands of hours , and the emitted light is about 20% stronger than with ordinary H4 filament bulbs!
The diagram above shows how to connect the bulb to the H4 socket in the car lamp. In some cars, for the proper operation of the bulb, it will be necessary to swap the cables "Plus dipped beam" and "Ground (0)" leading to the H4 socket.
It is a very simple procedure, thanks to which in the future it will be possible to install both LED and ordinary (fiber) bulbs in place of the dipped beam bulbs without restoring the polarity of the cables. Please use this diagram when connecting the bulb. In case of a wrong connection, the life of the bulb may be shortened.
