Modern standards
Schuko grounded sockets allow the plug to be inserted normally and rotated 180 degrees.
In addition, almost every modern device is equipped with a Uni-schuko plug (photo opposite), which is compatible with both Schuko and traditional "pin" earthing.
Traditional plugs can be connected to the Schuko strip without any grounding. However, we recommend the use of high-current grounded devices.
